Viewing

The best place to view the New Year's Eve display from the Bluff is from a good friend's house where a party is being held. The next best place is from your car on any street facing east. Don't forget to dress warmly and keep your window open a crack if you leave the engine running to keep warm for any period of time.

We start hourly countdown salutes at noon on the hour. The 6PM show is slow and lasts about 10 minutes and is a great little show for the little people who may have never seen fireworks before. The Midnight show lasts 15-20 minutes and of course is quite a bit bigger. Be sure to tune in to WLFN-AM 1490, WKBT 8 and WXOW 19 too!

The best viewing of the La Crosse Jaycees 4th of July Fireworks during Riverfest is from Riverside Park on the grounds of the event anywhere along the River. Or you can enjoy them from a boat or sandbar on the River, Pettibone Park, Houska Park or even join the crowd up on Grandad's Bluff and look down on it all!

Remember you don't have to get in "really" close to enjoy the show. These two displays can be seen from anywhere in the valley which means the Minnesota and Iowa sides too!
